Ortigia Film Festival

A competition of Italian first and second feature films, national and international short films, but also showcase documentaries, retrospectives, previews, tributes to great authors, recently produced films, unpublished works by emerging authors, focuses, masterpieces of the history of cinema, exhibitions, installations , master classes, workshops, meetings with the authors and other collateral events.

Three competitive sections of the Festival: the First and Second Italian Feature Film Competition, the Documentary Competition and the International Short Film Competition.

There are two non-competitive ones: Cinema Women and cinema in combination with another art that will be announced over the next few months.

For 2021 Ortigia Film Festival hopes that the 13th edition will be predominantly live to affirm the centrality of culture and cinema.
